NXT has defeated AEW for the first time this year in the Wednesday Night Wars.

The 4/8 edition of NXT on USA had an average viewership of 693,000, while AEW had just 1000 viewers less at 692,000.

AEW did manage to defeat NXT in the 18-49 demo, averaging a .26 rating, while NXT had a .19 rating.

NXT featured matches that were originally scheduled to take place during Takeover: Tampa.

The last time NXT had a higher viewership going head-to-head with AEW was on 12/18/19.
