NXT Talent Was Called Up Several Months Ago

Several months ago WWE called up another NXT talent, who has yet to debut on either RAW or SmackDown.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required) Vanessa Bourne was called up to the main roster earlier this year, which is the reason she has been absent from NXT television.

The report indicates Bourne was called up in either January or February, but has yet to make her main roster debut.

Borne was actually called up as far back as January or February, which explains why she hasn’t appeared on NXT at all since then. However, she’s still not made her main roster debut.

Vanessa Bourne’s WWE contract was expiring, and once she re-signed with the company she was called up to the main roster, a similar situation happened to Riddick Moss.

She is apparently awaiting her debut, but has been flying into television tapings, and due to major company shifts since the beginning of the year her current status is unknown.

Vanessa Bourne signed with WWE in April 2016. She trained under former WWE stars Gangrel and Rikishi at Knox Pro Entertainment.

Bourne’s last in-ring match with WWE was at a NXT live event in Citrus Springs, Florida on January 31, 2020.
