WWE has added another major name to their roster.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, John Hennigan aka John Morrison has signed a deal to return to WWE.
Hennigan is a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag-Team Champion. He also held the WWE’s version of the ECW Championship.
Hennigan has had successful runs with Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo, and more recently with IMPACT Wrestling as Johnny Impact.
He left IMPACT Wrestling this past July following the Slammiversary pay-per-view.
Although not confirmed, it’s expected Hennigan will return as John Morrison when he is brought back to WWE television.
