Report: Las Vegas Frontrunner City For Future Wrestlemania

This weekend, WWE announced the next three host cities for upcoming Wrestlemania events in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

As first reported by Mike Johnson on PWInsider Elite, Las Vegas was a frontrunner for a future Wrestlemania. WWE ended up announcing Tampa, Arlington, and Los Angeles as the next three host cities.

  • Wrestlemania 37: Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay
  • Wrestlemania 38: Sunday, April 3, 2022 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington/Dallas
  • Wrestlemania 39: Sunday, April 2, 2023 at SoFI Stadium in Inglewood/Los Angeles

Dave Meltzer noted during the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Las Vegas was originally expected to be host of Wrestlemania 39, he speculated the city may now host Wrestlemania 40.

Allegiant Stadium would likely play host to a future Wrestlemania, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. The stadium has a capacity of 65,000.

Las Vegas was the host city of Wrestlemania 9, emanating from Caesars Palace. That event was the first Wrestlemania hosted outdoors.
