Last month, Mercedes Martinez was quietly removed from RAW’s Retribution stable, and moved back to the NXT roster.

Prior to Mustafa Ali debuting as the leader, the core members were T-Bar (Dominik Dijakovic), Slapjack (Shane Throne), Mace (Dio Madden), Reckoning (Mia Yim), and Retaliation (Mercedes Martinez).

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Mercedes Martinez requested to no longer be part of the angle, and was removed from the Retribution stable prior to the group signing new contracts.

The report indicates there was other names from NXT discussed to join the faction, but a decision was made to keep the the group as is for now. As of the end of October, there were no plans to add another female member to the stable.

Martinez last appeared on NXT television on 9/8, losing a Steel Cage Match against Rhea Ripley during NXT Super Tuesday II.
