Roman Reigns was not a part of the Wrestlemania 36 tapings this past Wednesday and Thursday.

Despite still being advertised to face Goldberg, Reigns left the tapings due to health concerns during the coronavirus outbreak.

Dave Meltzer noted on the Figure Four Online (subscription required) message board that Reigns was scheduled to beat Goldberg at the the event.

Reigns made the decision to not work the event, and WWE management made a last minute decision to replace him with Braun Strowman.

Due to secrecy around the tapings, no details have been revealed whether Strowman was successful in defeating Goldberg at the event.

Several members of the WWE roster were absent from the tapings, including Rey Mysterio, Dana Brooke, Andrade, and Buddy Murphy.
