WWE Waited For Lynch To Sign New Deal Prior To Return
Becky Lynch is expected to make her long-awaited return soon.
In recent weeks, reports emerged stating she has been seen backstage at several WWE television tapings, and has been training at the WWE Performance Center.
Dave Meltzer spoke on Lynch’s return in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, revealing plans for her to appear at Wrestlemania 37 were teased, but didn’t happen due to WWE wanting to wait for her to sign a new contract.
Lynch wasn’t used at WrestleMania as first talked about and teased by her because they were waiting for her to sign a new deal, which is now in effect and because they felt it was too early to debut her before she would be back wrestling
Becky Lynch reportedly signed a new deal following Wrestlemania. Details on the new contract have yet to be revealed.
She relinquished the RAW Women’s Championship last May, announcing she was expecting her first child with fellow WWE star Seth Rollins. The couple announced the birth of their child last December.
