Over recent months, WWE’s NXT brand has been criticised for having multiple positive COVID-19 cases. Now another top star has tested positive.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that a top superstar in NXT has recently tested positive for COVID-19, however ‘this one didn’t necessarily have the concern attached to it that previous positive tests have had that led to an outbreak.’
it was also noted that the superstar hasn’t been around large groups of people and that it won’t make an impact on this Sunday’s NXT TakeOver: WarGames
The report mentioned that the main roster isn’t as much of a concern due to superstars being tested ahead of every appearance. NXT on the other hand has been heavily criticised over recent months for their handling of the pandemic, odd schedule of tests and overall performer safety.
