Report: Vince McMahon Misses First TV Taping Since ThunderDome Launch

Vince McMahon was absent from the 11/6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

As first reported by Ringside News, Vince McMahon was not present at the tapings, and Bruce Prichard was in charge of the show backstage. On the creative side of things, Ed Koskey and Ryan Callahan were in charge.

Despite not being at the building, McMahon was reportedly on the phone all day keeping tabs on production. The reason behind McMahon’s absence is currently unknown.

PWInsider confirmed the report, adding this is the first episode of WWE television Vince McMahon has missed since launching the ThunderDome in August.

Vince McMahon was present at this week’s Monday Night RAW taping.
