WWE is reportedly interesting in bringing back a wrestler who was released this past April due to company wide cuts.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), talent from both inside and outside WWE reveal the company has interest in bringing back No Way Jose.

According to the report, when contacting WWE, they could not confirm he has been signed or will be making any future appearances, but there is interest. He is reportedly well liked in both NXT and RAW locker rooms.

Following his release from WWE, he began to take bookings under the name Levy Valenz. Over the summer, he teamed with former WWE, and current IMPACT star Doc Gallows for Lariat Pro Wrestling.

This is not the first time WWE was interested in bringing back a released wrestler. Health Slater (Miller) returned to Monday Night RAW following his release, working a match against Drew McIntyre. Heath later revealed WWE wanted him to make two additional appearances, including a match at Extreme Rules: The Horror Show in July.
