Report: WWE Interested In Hosting SummerSlam In Atlantic City

Atlantic City Could Host WWE SummerSlam

WWE is hopeful they can host SummerSlam outside of Florida at the end of the month. The company has been scouting various locations, more specifically in the Northeast.

Following reports that WWE may have found a state to host their biggest summer event, Dave Meltzer is reporting the company is interested in producing the show in Atlantic City, NJ.

Regarding stories going around about SummerSlam in the Northeast, the plan right now being talked about was Atlantic City. They had been looking for a location outside of Florida for several weeks.

Game Changer Wrestling has produced two events a The Garden Pier at Atlantic City’s boardwalk last month. The company plans on two more events SummerSlam weekend.

It’s unknown if WWE plans to host the event on a closed set, or will allow limited fans to be present.
