WWE Seeking IMPACT Wrestling Stars

As the year comes to a close, a number of wrestling promotions are looking to secure talent who have contracts expiring.

WWE is constantly seeking new talent, and reportedly are looking at top talent from IMPACT Wrestling.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is interested finding out when top IMPACT Wrestling talent contracts expire.

WWE has been making overtures now toward some of the top level Impact talent to find out when contracts expire

Current IMPACT stars with contracts expiring include Ethan Page, Sami Callihan, and Taya Valkyrie. Fightful Select recently reported a number of other IMPACT wrestling contracts are expiring earlier than expected. When the promotion announced several talent re-signing deals in 2019, they were announced months after contracts were actually signed. There wasn’t any specific names mentioned, however it was noted that some contracts which are thought to have a few months left on them are expiring on January 1st 2021.

WWE recently signed Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz, who have reported to the Performance Center, and are expected to join the NXT brand.
