Following the news of Drew Gulak’s departure from WWE, additional details have been revealed, involving negotiations from both sides.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, both parties were negotiating a new deal, where Gulak wanted more money.

WWE reportedly didn’t grant him a raise, and proceeded to pull the original offer they had on the table, which led to his departure from the company.

Meltzer noted that talks between Gulak and WWE may not over.

“While the belief is that he is gone, it’s been hinted to me it’s not a dead issue. Gulak I believe is being represented by Barry Bloom in his negotiations.”

Barry Bloom has represented a number of people in the wrestling over the years including Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, Jim Ross, and Kenny Omega.

Drew Gulak is free to sign with another company as he is not bound by a non-compete clause with WWE.
