WWE Recorded Footage Prior To RAW In Honor Of Brodie Lee

WWE honored the late Brodie Lee in an opening graphic at the start of this week’s Monday Night RAW. Throughout the episode, superstars such as Xavier Woods and T-Bar of Retribution paid homage in their own way.

Following the episode, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston spoke on Lee’s passing during WWE RAW Talk. The company shared the footage on social media after the broadcast.

According to PWInsider, WWE taped tribute material in honor of Brodie Lee prior to Monday Night RAW airing. The footage was not used during last night’s broadcast.

It’s unknown when WWE plans to use the footage, but the idea of something larger than last night’s opening graphic was clearly planned.

Former WWE wrestler Brian Myers aka Curt Hawkins was critical of the company not airing a video package, or conducting a 10 bell salute.
