WWE will reportedly be bringing the Elimination Chamber concept to Saudi Arabia next month.

When WWE revealed their schedule for 2022 towards the end of last year, a noticeable change was that Elimination Chamber wasn’t on the list, despite taking place every year since 2017.

However it now seems that Elimination Chamber will still be going ahead, but for the first time ever from Saudi Arabia.

According to Fightful Select, the plan is for WWE to bring the Elimination Chamber match and structure to Saudi Arabia for a show on February 19th. It was noted that plans for the show began during WWE’s last show in Saudi Arabia, Crown Jewel, which took place in November last year.

It was further noted that there was also talks for WWE to possibly tape an episode for television in the future, however it should be noted that this hasn’t been confirmed.

WWE hasn’t held a women’s Elimination Chamber match since 2020, which was won by Shayna Baszler. In 2021, there were two men’s matches, the first being a WWE Championship match which was won by Drew McIntyre, and the other being a #1 contendership for the Universal Championship match, which was won by Daniel Bryan.
