Report: WWE Wants SmackDown To Have More Cinematic Look When It Moves To Fox

Ahead of WWE’s debut on FOX this October, the company has been testing out new cameras, as previously reported by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Wrestlevotes has provided more insight on this change, adding that WWE is is testing new camera, which will give a cinematic like look, similar to how WWE 24 is shot.

WWE currently employs filmmaker Joey Maloney on special projects, including WWE Chronicle, WWE Day Of, and WWE 24.  Maloney previously worked for the NFL as a Features Producer.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter previously reported, FOX wants the first episode of SmackDown Live be equivalent to a major boxing event. The network is looking to invite a lot of celebrities, which is one of the reasons the first show will be held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.
