Former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is not scheduled to make any in-ring appearances for the foreseeable future.

According to PWInsider Elite (subscription required), Ripley returned to Australia Monday due to her U.S work visa expiring. She was required to return home as part of the process to get her visa renewed.

Due to the current health crisis, it’s unknown how long Ripley will be outside of the United States.

While not confirmed, Ripley losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 36 may be due to her visa issues.

WWE plans on taping several weeks of NXT television this week, which Ripley will not be a part of.
