Ric Flair’s WWE contract was set to expire at the end of 2019, and the company was working towards re-signing the Hall of Famer to a new deal.
According to Wrestling Inc, Ric Flair has since signed a new deal, and is currently under contract with WWE.
Last year, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE was hoping to ink a new deal with Flair to keep him from signing with All Elite Wrestling.
Flair’s WWE deal expires right around the end of the year. He is friends with Tony Khan, to the degree that Khan was an invited guest to his wedding. I would expect WWE to make a good offer to keep him given they wouldn’t want him on the AEW television show.
Ric Flair most recently made an appearance prior to NXT television this past February in Orlando.
