Since returning to WWE after a several month hiatus, Roman Reigns has been back in the main event picture, winning the WWE Universal Championship.
He recently spoke with Mania Club, and was asked which NXT star he would like to face in the future. He initially mentioned Keith Lee, but since he’s now part of the main roster he believes Adam Cole would be a choice opponent once fans return to arenas
“I think I gave a little bit of love to Keith Lee, but he’s not NXT anymore since he made his debut on RAW. ” Reigns stated. “There’s a lot of really good talent there. I think, especially when we get back to a situation where we have a live crowd, I’d like to maybe tangle with Adam Cole. I think that would be neat, we’d get a really good reaction.”
Reigns stated he liked the energy Cole brought during his feud with Pat McAfee, admitting he wasn’t aware of the angle they had on McAfee’s radio show.
“To be honest, they may have worked me to have a real confrontation on the show”
