Sin Cara Appears At AAA Guerra de Titanes

Sin Cara has arrived in AAA.

Fresh off his release from WWE, Sin Cara has ignored his non-compete clause and debuted tonight at AAA’s Guerra de Titanes event in Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico at the Domo Madero.

Sin Cara’s appearance came following a TLC match featuring Willie Mack, Puma King, Murder Clown, and Pagano vs. Killer Kross, Taurus, Texano Jr., and Chessman.

It’s unclear whether WWE will pursue any legal action against AAA, since WWE owns the trademark to the name Sin Cara in both the United States and Mexico. The trademark in Mexico is set to expire in 2021.

Sin Cara had a brief stint in AAA in 2004 under the name Incognito.

Sin Cara was released from WWE on 12/8, and is not legally allowed to work for any other promotions until 3/8 due to a 90-day no compete clause issued. Sin Cara is still being paid by WWE during the no compete period.
