Shane McMahon will be making his return to WWE television tonight, following a lengthy hiatus.
According to Wrestlevotes, Shane McMahon’s role tonight is to introduce a “new concept” to the red brand, which apparently is causing some backstage to raise their eyebrows.’

Shane McMahon was last seen inside a WWE ring last October, losing to Kevin Owens in a Ladder Match during the inaugural episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The other major story scheduled for tonight’s broadcast is a new faction which is scheduled to debut. Early reports suggest this faction is looking to create “chaos” within the WWE. It’s unknown if Shane McMahon’s announcement has anything to do with the new group.
