Daniel Bryan will have another opportunity at earning a WWE Universal shot at Fastlane next month.

During last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Daniel Bryan faced Jey Uso with the stipulation if Bryan wins, he would receive a WWE Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at Fastlane on Sunday, March 21. The match ended in a double count-out, meaning Bryan didn’t earn a championship opportunity.

During today’s episode of Talking Smack, Daniel Bryan joined Paul Heyman for a segment, asking for a Steel Cage match on next week’s SmackDown. If he wins, he receives a Universal Championship match at Fastlane, if he loses he must acknowledge Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief. Heyman received a text from Reigns during the show, accepting the stipulation.

Check out a clip from Daniel Bryan’s promo towards Roman Reigns, where he also praised former WWE star CM Punk.

“I’m going out to take what’s mine, and that’s the reign before CM Punk, and that’s the best damn wrestler in the world”
