‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt is now a two-time WWE Universal Champion, defeating Braun Strowman in the main event of tonight’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Following the match, WWE followed through on the tagline of the event, with the surprise return of Roman Reigns.

While Wyatt was celebrating his win, Roman Reigns speared him, then proceeded to attack Braun Strowman. At the same time of his SummerSlam appearance, the t-shirt he was wearing which says ‘Wreck Everyone & Leave’ went live on the WWEShop.

Roman Reigns took a hiatus from WWE prior to Wrestlemania 36, at the same time WWE began running empty arena shows, due to the worldwide pandemic.

In a recent interview with The Hindu Metro Plus, Reigns spoke on the reasoning behind his decision, clarifying that it wasn’t health related, but for the sake of his family.

“I just had to make a choice for my family,” Reigns stated. “The company (WWE) has done everything that they can to make it the safest work environment possible. It is not the workplace that I was necessarily concerned about.”

Roman Reigns last WWE match was at a live event this past March in Syracuse, NY.
