Travel from Europe to the United States will be suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

United States President Donald Trump announced Wednesday night, all travel from Europe (excluding United Kingdom) to the United States will be suspended beginning Friday, March 13. The suspension is set to last for 30-days.

The travel ban will prevent fans and talent from Europe to enter the United States during Wrestlemania 36 festivities.

This new sanction will have a major impact for Wrestlemania week. WWE fans from 68 countries were in attendance for Wrestlemania 35 in New Jersey.

Earlier today, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor spoke with 102.5 “The Bone” on the possibility of canceling large scale events in the area.

When asked about the possibility of canceling Wrestlemania 36, Castor explained they are still looking at the situation of all large scale events.

An official meeting will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday afternoon to discuss if any events will be postponed or canceled.
