Update: 4:49 p.m ET

Dave Meltzer has posted the following on the F4WOnline board, eluding to the absences being COVID related. Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, and Nikki Cross are all off tonight’s pay-per-view. No Women’s Tag Team Championship match will take place.

Baszler, Jax & Cross all off the show. Bayley is expected right now to face someone but they haven’t figured out who. Baszler & Jax off the show means no women’s tag title match.

There is not an NXT outbreak, it’s a WWE outbreak. It did start at the Performance Center but it’s not like NXT, AEW and WWE talent don’t socialize together, live together, marry each other, have parties together (including a notable one recently) go to the gym together, and spread germs together.

Update: 4:00 p.m. ET

According to PWInsider, Nikki Cross is not at the venue tonight ahead of Clash Of Champions, and will not be performing, confirming POST Wrestling’s report from earlier.

Asuka vs. Zelina Vega, which originally was scheduled for the KickOff Show has now been moved to the main card. Lucha House Party vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro is expected to be moved to the Kickoff Show.

Two matches have been changed for tonight’s Clash Of Champions pay-per-view.

According to POST Wrestling, Nikki Cross will indeed not be performing tonight, and Bayley is expected to have a replacement opponent during the pay-per-view.

The Women’s Tag Team Championship match has also been affected, originally scheduled to have Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defend their titles against The Riott Squad. WWE sources indicate the match is “off”.

WWE has been dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak, affecting a number of talent in the NXT roster. It’s unknown if this is the reason behind the changes on tonight’s show.

Both matches will be addressed tonight during the pay-per-view.

Saturday night, reports emerged that Nikki Cross may not be appearing at the event. She missed the go-home edition of SmackDown.
