NXT star Wes Lee of MSK suffered a broken hand during last month’s NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day pay-per-view.

Dave Meltzer spoke on the injury during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, confirming the injury is not part of storyline and it occurred in the finals of the Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

During last week’s NXT injury report, WWE revealed he wasn’t medically cleared to compete due to the injury. That report is a mix of kayfabe and reality.

Lee shared video of his X-Ray on Instagram. It’s unknown how long he will be out of action.
