WWE 2019 Clash Of Champions: Internal Schedule Reveals Unannounced Matches

WWE is gearing up for their next pay-per-view Clash of Champions. The company has officially announced one match, Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

According to an internal match card, the following matches are currently scheduled to take place according to the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

  • WWE Championship: Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton
  • WWE Universal Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman
  • WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair
  • WWE RAW Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks
  • WWE Intercontinental Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura w/ Sami Zayn vs. The Miz
  • WWE SmackDown Team Championship: The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) vs. The Revival
  • 2019 King Of The Ring Tournament Finals

Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns, and Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton has currently listed on the Spectrum Center website. WWE promotes this pay-per-view as having all titles on the line, which means they will also announce a United States Championship, Women’s Tag Team Championship, 24/7 Championship, and Cruiserweight Championship match.

WWE Clash of Champions will be held at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC on September 15, 2019

Randy Orton Claps Back At Tony Khan, AEW Founder Calls Out Orton For Using N-Word

The on-going war between AEW and WWE took quite the turn Monday night on Twitter.

It all started when CM Punk tagged both Vince McMahon and Tony Khan in a tweet promotion tomorrow night’s episode of WWE Backstage. Khan responded with a tweet taking shots at WWE’s travel issues in Saudi Arabia.

Randy Orton defended WWE , and posted a 2018 article about Tony Khan’s father, lead AEW investor Shahid Khan. The article spoke on Shahid Khan being investigated in the United Kingdom for corruption.

Tony Khan held nothing back in his reply to Orton, speaking on the Viper “grasping for leverage” in tagging him in posts in the past. He was referring to Orton being vocal about being interested in AEW, as well as making cryptic social media posts. Khan seemingly feels Orton did this to get a better deal when re-signing with WWE.

Khan didn’t stop there, he brought up the recent Twitch stream where Randy Orton used the N-word.

Tony Khan stated, “I thought you only tagged me in your posts when you were grasping for leverage. That article’s over a year old + is about baseless claims made about my dad years ago. That’s the best you can do, nothing. Meanwhile in the time since that was written, you used the N word on twitch.”

AEW’s Tony Khan Reponds To CM Punk And Takes Shots At WWE’s Saudi Arabia Travel Issues

Tony Khan Throws Shade At WWE

Earlier today, CM Punk announced “no one is safe” on tomorrow’s edition of WWE Backstage.

Punk plans on speaking his mind during his first official appearance as an analyst on WWE’s late night studio show on FS1.

Punk stated, “It IS weird trying to catch up on 5+ years of rasslin’, I’m doing what I can. There’s bright spots, mostly women from what I can tell. There’s BAD too. I’m gonna talk about it, and no one is safe. Join us.” He tagged Renee Young, Booker T, WWE on FOX, Vince McMahon, and Tony Khan in his tweet,

Tony Khan responded by throwing shade at WWE’s recent travel incident in Saudi Arabia.

Khan replied, “No one is safe? Sounds like a plane full of wrestlers in Saudi Arabia!”

WWE Backstage will air on FS1 at 11 pm ET with host Booker T and Renee Young. Former WCW Champion David Arquette will be a guest, and take part in the “promo school” segment.

Report: Nikki Cross Signs Multi-Year WWE Contract Extension

Nikki Cross Signs New WWE Deal

One of WWE’s rising stars is planning to continue her year with the company for several more years.

According to Squared Circle Sirens, Nikki Cross has agreed to terms on a new deal with WWE. Cross has signed a multi-year contract extension with the company.

Cross originally signed with WWE in 2016, following a tryout the year before in London.

After spending two years on NXT as a mainstay in the SAnitY stable, Cross joined the main roster in 2018.

Nikki Cross joined forces with Alexa Bliss, winning her the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, her first title reign since signing with the company.

Exact details and length her deal has yet to be revealed, but the report suggests she will be in the WWE for years to come.
