WWE is advertising two returns to this Friday’s edition of SmackDown on Fox.

After nearly a year of being on the shelf for a knee injury, Jeff Hardy will make his return to Friday Night SmackDown on the 1/13 episode.

Hardy recently revealed he was cleared for in-ring competition during an episode of WWE Backstage.

The advertisement also announced that former Paige will be appearing on SmackDown, and is set to confront SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.

Paige was medically disqualified from in-ring competition following a neck injury, retiring in 2018.

She recently underwent emergency surgery to remove an ovarian cyst.

The confrontation could be used to setup a new program for Bayley, perhaps with a returning Nia Jax, who has been on the shelf for the majority of 2019, but that is purely speculation at this point.

As more information is known, an update will be provided.

Friday Night SmackDown emanates from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
