WWE has made a slight change with their presentation during the latest set of tapings, including last week’s SmackDown, last night’s RAW, and the next episodes of SmackDown and RAW.

According to Wrestling Inc., WWE changed how ring announcers introduce talent to the ring. Historically, the announcer is inside the ring during introductions, but that wasn’t the case during the last set of tapings.

WWE made the decision to not have ring announcers appear in the ring during match introductions. The word I received was that they will only appear in the ring if a match has a Championship on the line, however that may not always be the case, as there were no ring introductions for the AJ Styles vs. Drew Gulak Intercontinental Championship match last Friday on SmackDown.

It’s unknown how long this change will be in affect, and updates will be provided as they are known.
