RUMOURED 2020 ROYAL RUMBLE ENTRANTS
Over the last week reports have surfaced indicating several injured stars who are set to be in Houston, TX for Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
- Jinder Mahal
- Ruby Riott
- Nia Jax
- Santino Marella
NXT participants have yet to be announced for either Royal Rumble match. Based on the small number of slots remaining in men’s match, the company has room to bring in a few NXT stars if they choose. However, the women’s match does have several open spots for NXT talent if they choose to bring them in.
The biggest question is major surprises for Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The only major star currently rumored to appear is Edge.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite made a bold prediction on 1/21. He believes we will see Edge back on WWE programming within a week. Edge has explicitly said he is not making a WWE return. Those within the company believe he will return to in-ring action, whether that be at the Royal Rumble or sometime after.
