WWE Superstars had an extra long day Saturday due to taping multiple episodes of Friday Night SmackDown.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE pre-taped two episodes (3/27 and 4/3) of Friday Night SmackDown, as well as 205 Live on Saturday.

“I am told it was an extremely long day that started early this morning and ran pretty much all day and well into the evening.” Johnston stated. “Everyone is working as hard as they can to get everything done so that the company is “protected” in terms of content over the next several weeks so that no matter what, they are guaranteed to present new, original content in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.”

WWE will be taping NXT material Sunday, and begin taping Monday Night RAW tomorrow and Tuesday.

The company will begin taping Wrestlemania 36 on Wednesday and Thursday at the WWE Performance Center and other ‘closed set’ locations.
