WWE has come to terms with the release of Jack Gallagher following a sexual assault claim levied against the NXT star.

The company issued the following statement

WWE has come to terms on the release of Jack Gallagher (Jack Claffey).

A woman, who goes by the name Becky, issued a statement alleging Gallagher sexually assaulted her at a New Year’s Eve party in 2014.

She later posted screenshots of a message between Gallagher and the owner of the house where the party was held.

Jack Gallagher signed with WWE in 2016, and has been prominently featured on the 205 Live program, and more recently on NXT television.

WWE issued a statement Friday following a number of sexual assault allegations made against members of its roster.

Individuals are responsible for their own personal actions. WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated. WWE’s ability to fine, suspend or terminate a WWE talent will not be, however, limited or compromised in any manner in the event incontrovertible evidence of such illegal misconduct is presented to WWE.
