WWE Have Revealed The Name Of Their Upcoming TakeOver Special.

WWE have revealed the February 14th TakeOver as ‘Vengeance Day’. The show will air at 7pm EST on the WWE Network and will take place from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando Florida.

Over the past year, WWE have brought back several classic pay-per-view names for the TakeOver events, with shows such as ‘In Your House’ and ‘Halloween Havoc’ being favorites among fans.

WWE will be bringing back yet another classic pay-per-view logo later this month. The first Vengeance show took place in 2001 and ran as an annual event until 2007, when it was changed to ‘Vengeance: Night Of Champions’ for one year. It then became simply known as ‘Night Of Champions’. The pay-per-view was brought back however in 2011, going by the name ‘Vengeance’.

The only match currently announced for the event is a triple threat which will see NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai defend against Mercedes Martinez and Toni Storm. It’s likely that more matches will be set up during tonight’s episode of NXT.
