WWE Women’s Tag-Team Titles Are Coming In 2019

WWE announced tonight via a pre-taped segment with Vince McMahon that they will be unveiling Women’s Tag Team Titles sometime in 2019.

The long awaited tag-team titles for the Women’s division have been talked about for much of 2018, and it’s finally coming to fruition. The WWE has teased these titles for several months, even handing out signs that read “We Want Women’s Tag Team Titles”.

On the December 4th edition of RAW, an “Open Forum” segment with planted fans happened. One fan asked what changes will they bring to the women’s division in 2019, and Bayley replied that she knows that her and Sasha will be the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Over the summer, reports from Mike Johnson at PWInsider stated that talent had been trading photos of renders of the new WWE Womens’ Tag Team Titles.

The WWF had Women’s Tag-Team Titles from 1983 -1989 with The Glamour Girls holding them twice.

There is no word how they will decide the winner’s of the inaugural championships.
