Tonight at the Smackdown LIVE tapings in Fresno, California, Rusev defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new United States Champion.

The match was the main event of the taping, and Rusev defeated Shinsuke Nakamura clean after a Machka Kick.

Rusev is now a three-time WWE United Stats’s Champion.

The episode will air on Christmas Day 12/25.
