Mysterio Set To Return In Early July
Rey Mysterio’s return to WWE is currently scheduled for early July following an injury last month.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Mysterio’s return is targeted for the July 8 episode of RAW in Newark, NJ. This return date is pending medical clearance, which can change depending on on how well his injury heals.
Mysterio was forced to relinquish the WWE United States Championship last month after separating his shoulder at the Money In the Bank pay-per-view in a match against Samoa Joe.
The big question now is if Mysterio will once again go after the U.S Championship, setting up a program between him and Ricochet, who won the title last night at WWE Stomping Grounds.
