The Twitter fingers are in full force as Seth Rollins and Will Ospreay are going back and fourth on the social media network.

How It All Started

WWE held their Stomping Grounds pay-per-view this past Sunday, and despite poor ticket sales, and low expectations, the event ended up redeeming itself with a decent show.

Fans began to revolt during the main event match between Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin, with chants of “CM Punk”, “Boring”, and “AEW”. This all began when Lacey Evans was revealed as the mystery referee for the match.

Following the event, Seth Rollins made a bold claim stating WWE is “the best wrestling on the planet”, which caused some heads to turn, including Will Ospreay

Current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay responded to Rollins’ tweet, with a simple message, “I’m alive”.

Seth Rollins didn’t take kindly to Will Ospreay’s comment, and responded by calling him “little guy”. He also stated that the WWE has a better version of Ospreay, speaking on Ricochet.

Ospreay replied with a Gif that said “Ohh, you’re dard”

Things Begin To Get Personal

Will Ospreay decided his last Gif wasn’t a good enough reply, and decided to give a “fact of the day” stating that he wrestled more matches in 2019 than Seth Rollins. He ended the tweet with a “Catch up little guy”.

Mic Drop.

Seth Rollins then began talking money, and claimed he makes more money than Will Ospreay.

Ospreay proceeded to ask Rollins to stay on topic. The original tweet stated “Find anyone else alive whod does what I do as well as I do it as often as I do it”. Ospreay replied “Here I am”.

He wished Rollins well on his recent back injury as well.

The Onlookers Give Their Two Cents

Despite being in a feud with Seth Rollins, Baron Corbin decided to defend him, and state that he worked more matches than Ospreay.

Ospreay claped back stating “No wonder RAW sucks”.

Enter Chris Jericho, the former WWE star who now works for AEW.

Jericho later stated he wasn’t throwing shade, he was “simply having a little fun”.

Time To Make $$$

Ospreay took the Twitter war one step futher, and began selling “Little Guy” shirts on his online store.

Honorable Mentions

Pro Wrestling journalist Wade Keller took Rollins to task on how he was portraying himself.

Rollins responded “if some kid who thinks he’s got it all figured out wants to step to me, then he’s gonna get patted on the head and sent on his way. And so will you”

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter decided to throw shade at Rollins by tweeting “-6 Stars, Seth”. Meltzer was replying to Rollins tweet from 2018, after he was called out for speaking on Peyton Royce from the IIconics weight.
