AJ Styles has candid during his Twitch streams, not shying away from speaking his mind on a number of topics, including his discussions with All Elite Wrestling last year.
Prior to signing a new deal with WWE, AJ Styles was in talks with AEW, which The Young Bucks discussed during the TalkN’ Shop podcast last month.
“Yeah, there were talks,” Styles stated. “Look, it’s a business. My contract in WWE was going to expire and there were talks happening.”
Styles mentioned he is friends with The Young Bucks, and discussions about him joining the promotion did take place, but talks about money did not occur.
“The Bucks are my buddies,” Styles said. “We never discussed money or anything, but there were talks about coming in.
The Young Bucks recently revealed plans to reunite members of The Bullet Club during the inaugural broadcast of AEW Dynamite. Original plans had the show taking place at Madison Square Garden, with Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and AJ Styles making their debut at the end of the broadcast.
