A big story that swamped the wrestling news cycle was WWE’s ban of third-party platforms for talent, with many being forced to suspend their popular accounts on apps like Twitch, Cameo, OnlyFans, and any Youtube channel content.
One man who was able to avoid this was executive Bruce Prichard, whose Something To Wrestle With podcast has not only continued, but been promoted heavily on the WWE Network.
According to Ringside News, Prichard recently gifted several WWE writers an Amazon card for Christmas, which was packaged in envelopes containing logos and letterhead of Prichard’s podcast.
The move was considered somewhat inappropriate by Prichard considering that stars like Zelina Vega lost her job due to the new third-party edict, a wound that is still fresh and being felt by many in the company.
Sources told the publication that Prichard is supposed to be a leader backstage, but the promoting of an outside venture seemed to leave the writing team with a bad taste in their mouths.
