A new venue has been listed for WWE Crown Jewel.
According to Fightful, the ticketing page now lists The Venue, also known as ANB Arena, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as the new venue for Crown Jewel. The show was previously set to take place at Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD.
The Venue is set to host the boxing fight between Canelo Alvarez and Christian Mbilli on Saturday, October 31. That fight is one week before Crown Jewel.
This listing follows the announcement on October 28, when Riyadh Season said Crown Jewel had been moved to a new venue. That announcement said all ticket holders would receive a full refund, and tickets would be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours. It did not name the new venue at the time.
The new listing is a change from the report published on October 29, which said Crown Jewel was reportedly moving to Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. That report was based on Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, and it was presented as a report, not a confirmed venue. The ticketing listing now points to The Venue instead.
WWE has not made its own official announcement on the new venue yet. The date has not changed. Crown Jewel is still scheduled for Saturday, November 7.
The card for the show includes Roman Reigns against Sami Zayn for the men’s Crown Jewel Championship, Liv Morgan against Chelsea Green for the women’s Crown Jewel Championship, Cody Rhodes against Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match, and The Vision against Penta and Je’Von Evans for the World Tag Team Championship.
What is confirmed is the ticketing listing for The Venue, the November 7 date, and the matches announced so far. What is not confirmed is why the venue changed, or whether WWE will issue its own statement on the new building.
