Dean Malenko’s exit from WWE was first reported yesterday by Sports Illustrated.
According to the report he left the company after working for 8 years as a backstage agent. His tenure with the company was incorrectly reported, and should have stated since the year 2000.
According to PWInsider, Malenko did indeed quit the company, and as of this afternoon his departure is official. A lot of older producers have been cycled on and off the road since a large amount of new producers have joined the company. It’s unknown if this had anything to do with his exit.
Malenko has been announced for the up-coming Starrcast event during Double Or Nothing weekend.
