Harper Remains Under Contract Until 2020
Luke Harper has not been given any future WWE bookings.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Luke Harper has not received any bookings from WWE since asking for his release from the company.
Harper’s contract is set to expire in November, but the company has extended it six months due to his injury. He asked Vince McMahon if he could be released in November, since they have no plans on using him. Vince advised Harper to take it up with Triple H, who then did not respond to him.
Vince McMahon has not been happy with Harper’s return, and reportedly “doesn’t get him”. Harper was added to the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 35 as a last minute addition.
Harper’s last match was on April 4 against EC3, which was a dark match to test EC3 with manager Drake Maverick.
