Brodie Lee Trademark Finalized Days Before Death

Johnathan Huber was granted ownership of the name Brodie Lee days before he passed away.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office issued a registration certificate for the name Brodie Lee on 12/22 for use in professional wrestling and merchandise.

Huber applied for the trademark on 11/26/19, with the application stating he first used the ring name in 2003. At the time of registration, he was still working at WWE under the name Luke Harper. The trademark registration was a sign he was preparing for his exit from the promotion.

He used the services of “Gimmick Attorney” Michael E. Dockins, who has helped numerous pro wrestlers trademark their ring names.

All Elite Wrestling will be presenting a Celebration Of Life in honor of Brodie Lee during this week’s episode of Dynamite.
