Darby Allin will defend the TNT Championship against Josh Alexander at Fright Night Dynamite.
The match was set up on the October 24 episode of AEW Collision. Alexander defeated Blake Brown by referee stoppage after a modified piledriver left Brown unable to continue. After the match, Alexander cut a promo and called out Allin.
Alexander said he wanted to bring gold to The Don Callis Family. He called his shot for a TNT Title match on the next Dynamite, and AEW made the match official shortly after.
Allin is the current TNT Champion, and Alexander is the latest member of the Don Callis Family to chase a title in AEW. The group already has a big presence on the Blood and Guts card, with Kazuchika Okada, Wardlow, Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis, Kevin Knight, and Jake Doyle set for the men’s Blood and Guts match on November 4.
Alexander also got involved in the wider issues on Collision. Adam Copeland confronted the Don Callis Family during the show, as the Blood and Guts teams continue to build toward November 4.
Fright Night Dynamite is shaping up as a busy show. Along with the TNT Title match, the third match in the best of five series between FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns is set, and Persephone will defend the TBS Championship against Queen Aminata.
What is confirmed is the title match, the show, and the rest of the announced card. What is not confirmed is whether Alexander wins the title or whether the Don Callis Family gets involved in the finish.
