Stephanie Vaquer is medically cleared, and she will face Becky Lynch on Raw on October 26.

Vaquer announced the news herself on Saturday in a video shared by WWE. She threw down her crutches and delivered a message straight to Lynch.

“Becky, you wanted to know when I’m cleared? See you Monday!” Vaquer said.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce then made the match official. Vaquer will face Lynch one on one on the October 26 episode of Raw from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. The winner becomes the number one contender to Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.

Vaquer lost the Women’s World Championship to Morgan in a triple threat match at Money in the Bank earlier this month, a match that also involved Lynch. Vaquer suffered an ankle injury in that match, and she has been out of action on television since then, even though she worked live events in Hawaii on October 16 and 17.

Lynch proposed the number one contender’s match on Raw on October 19, saying she wanted to meet Vaquer once Vaquer was cleared. Pearce confirmed it on Saturday, saying both women wanted the match.

This will be the first time Vaquer and Lynch have met in singles competition. Their only previous match together was the Money in the Bank triple threat. Lynch fired back at Vaquer’s announcement on social media, writing that she would give Vaquer three weeks before she was injured again.

What is confirmed is the clearance, the match, and the number one contender’s stakes. What is not confirmed is when the winner will get their title match against Morgan, who is set to face Chelsea Green in a champion versus champion match at Crown Jewel on November 7.
