Kyle Fletcher will challenge Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear.
Fletcher earned the shot by beating Jack Perry on Fright Night Dynamite on October 28 in St. Louis, Missouri. Fletcher survived Perry’s high risk offense and won with a turnbuckle brainbuster.
After the match, Fletcher called out Ospreay and demanded an AEW World Championship match at Full Gear. The match is now set for the November 14 pay-per-view in Phoenix, Arizona, according to F4WOnline’s updated Full Gear card.
Ospreay will be looking for his fourth successful title defense. This will be Fletcher’s second shot at the top prize in AEW. He previously fell short against then champion Hangman Page at All Out in September 2025.
Fletcher has been one of AEW’s most pushed acts through 2026, and a win over Perry keeps that momentum going into Full Gear. Perry, meanwhile, took another loss in a singles match after a run built around his high flying style. With Full Gear now just over two weeks away, the world title match gives the November 14 show a clear main event anchor.
Full Gear is shaping up as a loaded card. The show already includes The Young Bucks defending the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Mark Davis and Jake Doyle, and Hangman Page, Brody King and Bandido defending the AEW World Trios Championship against Swerve Strickland and The New Level.
What is confirmed is Fletcher’s win over Perry, his challenge to Ospreay, and the Full Gear date and location. What is not confirmed is how Ospreay responded to the challenge on television, beyond the match being set for the card.
