According to Wrestling Inc., Matt Cardona signed a very short term deal with All Elite Wrestling, agreeing to give appearances with the company.

Wrestling Inc. has learned that Cardona is currently working on a five appearance deal with the company. While that can change, he is currently on a short term deal.

AEW could present him a full-time contract, but at this time he is only signed for limited appearances.

Despite the short-term deal with the company, AEW has released an official t-shirt for the former WWE star.

Cardona will team with Cody on next week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, facing John Silver and Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order.

Matt Cardona was released from WWE this past April during company wide releases. He spent the majority of his career with WWE.
