Tony Khan Cuts Promo On WWE President Nick Khan

Ahead of tonight’s special edition of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan addressed reports of WWE and New Japan Pro-Wrestling possibly forming a partnership.

In a video posted on AEW’s social media channels, Tony Khan cut a promo on WWE President Nick Khan, stating he has done more with New Japan Pro-Wrestling in the last two weeks, than Nick has done in the last two months of reported discussions. He also called Nick a “con-man from Connecticut”, and said there is only room for “one Khan in the wrestling business”.

“I just want to address, as The Forbidden Door, I read the Observer today that New Japan Pro Wrestling apparently has had talks with WWE’s President Nick Khan. Well Nick, I have to say, if you’ve been talking with New Japan Pro-Wrestling for two months, you’ve got a lot done. Just in the last two weeks, I’ve had Yuji Nagata, Ren Narita, and Rocky Romero on AEW. I’ve reunited Roppongi Vice, I’ve had the New Japan IWGP U.S Champion Jon Moxley defend the title successfully on our show retaining it. I have future plans with New Japan Pro Wrestling for the U.S title. So you must have really got a lot done in the last two months Nick? In fact, I think there is only room for one Khan in the wrestling business Nick, and it’s me, it’s Tony Khan. It’s not some con-man from Connecticut. Have a fun show tonight Nick.”
