WWE Made Clerical Error on Aleister Black’s Contract

Former WWE star Aleister Black, now known as Malakai Black, made his debut for All Elite Wrestling during this week’s special edition of Dynamite, Road Rager.

Black was released from WWE at the beginning of June, and many believed he was under a standard 90-day non-compete clause, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

According to PWInsider, WWE made a clerical error with Black’s contract after he was moved from NXT to the main roster several years ago. NXT talent are only bound to a 30-day non-compete clause, which WWE failed to update to a 90-day when he was called up.  It’s unknown if WWE made this error on other contracts.

Following his debut, AEW released an official shirt which can be seen below.
