Poirier Earns Victory Over McGregor At UFC 257
Conor McGregor returned to the UFC following a 12-month hiatus, losing to Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 257 at Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.
The former Interim UFC Lightweight Championship defeated Conor McGregor via TKO at 2:32 of the second round.
In 2014, McGregor got the best of Poirier when the two met at UFC 178, knocking him out in less than two minutes in the first round.
This time around, Poirier was able to land a series of blows to McGregor’s face, knocking him down, ending the fight.
